Jet2 Charter is introducing the first Jet2 aircraft configured with a dedicated business class layout.
Bookings are now being taken for flights between October 2026 until May 2027 on the bespoke Boeing 737-800NG.
So long as flights are within range of the aircraft, which is around 5,500 kilometres with a standard configuration, there are no restrictions regarding the destination. From the UK, this would facilitate flights to destinations such as New York City and Dubai.
Instead of the usual 189-seat layout, the aircraft will be configured with 76 business class seats. They will offer a minimum of 43 inches of legroom.
This is the first time that Jet2 has configured an aircraft in this specification and the plane will feature enhanced levels of comfort, more personal space and the level of exclusivity that charter customers expect.
Passengers can look forward to a premium experience onboard the aircraft. That includes an upgraded catering, which can be tailored to customers’ needs.
Flights will be staffed by the Jet2 Charter team and customers will have the service of Jet2.com’s dedicated 24/7 operational team.
Trevor Caplis, Head of Charter and Airline Sales at Jet2, said: “This is an incredibly exciting development, both for Jet2 and for our charter customers.
“The bespoke configuration of one of our Boeing 737-800NG aircraft so that it features a dedicated business class specification is a genuine game changer and we expect it to be popular with our sports, music, entertainment and specialist group customers.
“As a result of this brand-new product, our charter customers can now enjoy all the usual operational and cost-effective benefits of Jet2, but with the added benefit of a premium charter product too.”
