Italy’s popularity inspires new Riviera tours

New tours created due to demand for ‘customer favourite’ Italy, and rising enquiries from solo travellers

Riviera Travel has introduced seven new itineraries under its Classic European Tours category. Available to book now, they include tours in Puglia, Florence, Umbria, and Padua in Italy, Northern Cyprus, and Spain.

The operator says the new Italy tours have been introduced due to the country’s “popularity”.

These include the eight-day ‘Puglia and Basilicata: Lecce, Alberobello and Matera’ trip, priced from £1,489pp.

In response to the rising interest from individual travellers, five out of the seven new Classic European Tours are solo holidays. An eight-day ‘Tuscany, Florence and Sienna for Solo Travellers’ leads in at £2,329pp.

Head of European Product, Joanne Lynn, said: “Italy remains a firm favourite, and we’re expanding our offering with both new and returning tours that showcase incredible highlights.

“Our Grand Tour additions in Spain provide even more opportunities for in-depth exploration, while our growing range of Solo tours reflects the increasing demand for independent travel.”
