Titan highlights small group tours and solo holidays
by Jessica Pook
Titan has launched a dedicated Small Group and Solo Holidays trade brochure, with deposits starting from £49pp when booked by August 2021.
The new collection caters to solo travellers as well as clients who are looking for a more 'intimate and immersive group travel experience'.
An increased desire to travel as part of a smaller group was revealed as an emerging trend in Titan’s Travel Trends report.
Titan's tours have a maximum capacity of 24 people, with some operating with as few as 12.
Solo escorted tours also feature in the brochure.
Clients are accompanied by an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide, with all accommodation, transport and excursions planned in advance.
A highlight of the brochure is a 14-day ‘Zimbabwe – The Path to the Smoke that Thunders’ escorted tour, priced from £4,749pp. The tour includes eight nights' hotel accommodation, a three-night cruise, meals and excursions - including a dinner on the Bushtracks Express steam train and a visit to Victoria Falls - and a choice of game drives and fishing at Lake Kariba.
For solo travellers, a 14-day ‘Footsteps of the Incas’ escorted solo tour is priced from £3,599pp. The tour includes 11 nights' hotel accommodation, meals and excursions, including visits to Lake Titicaca and Machu Picchu.
Andy Squirrell, Managing Director, Titan Travel, commented: “Small group tours are a fantastic option for travellers who are looking for a more personal experience. Offering a unique way to travel, with more immersive and off-the-beaten-track experiences, they have an engaging atmosphere that allows the group to naturally bond as friends.”
