Scenic Luxury Tours & Cruises has announced two new itineraries for its newest ship, the Scenic Eclipse, one month ahead of its maiden voyage.
Launching on August 15, Scenic Eclipse will sail a 15-day Taste of the Caribbean cruise and a 13-day Colombia & Panama itinerary, both available to book now.
Taste of the Caribbean departs October 7, 2019 from Nassau with a focus on some lesser-visited ports such as Long Island, home to coral reefs and long white beaches; Great Inagua Island, renowned for bird watching; Guanaja Island in Honduras; and Half Moon Caye, a sea turtle nesting habitat and home to the red-footed booby bird.
Guests depart from Miami on October 19, 2019 for the Colombia & Panama sailing and, after a stop in Key West, head to Central America. From Belize City guests explore colonial houses, seaside parks and Mayan ruins, while in Roatan Island the focus is on snorkelling and relaxingon the beach. Other stops include Costa Rica’s Puerto Limón, where guests visit the Jaguar Rescue Centre and Sloth Sanctuary, and the San Blas Islands, home to the Kuna people.
Scenic Eclipse has 10 dining options, from Asian Fusion to French fine dining, as well as a 5,920-foot spa and a gym with separate yoga and Pilates studio. The ship also has two six-guest helicopters and one six-guest submarine capable of depths of nearly 1,000 feet. Scenic's all-inclusive fares include gratuities, premium liquor and wines and butler service. The only additional costs are excursions in the helicopters and submarine, scuba diving and spa services.
