Regent Holidays has expanded its range of trips for 2022. There are fully guided small group tours, city breaks and tailormade itineraries.

A sample of the new tours includes:

● Foodie Finland: This seven-day summertime tour offers the chance to enjoy beer tasting, visits to micro-breweries and to meet some of the women making waves in the Finnish craft beer scene. Also included is a visit to the oldest whisky distillery in Finland, dinners showcasing local cuisine and time to enjoy Tampere – the sauna capital of the world. Departing in June 2022 and priced from £1,995pp.

● Faroe Islands: Exploring beyond the capital, this five-day group tour ventures to several islands that make up the Faroes. Staying at the Faroes’ first fully sustainable hotel – Hotel Brandon – the itinerary includes a boat trip to the birdlife-rich Vestmanna Cliffs; the Giant and Witch rock formations on Eysturoy; and the unspoilt island of Sandoy. Departing in August 2022 and priced from £1,495pp.

● The Azores: Showcasing the best of Sao Miguel, a new tailormade eight-day itinerary offers a twin-centre trip combining the island’s capital with the geothermal village of Furnas. This trip includes a whale and dolphin-watching tour; a guided walking tour of Ponta Delgada; an all-terrain jeep tour to see the twin volcanic lagoons near Sete Cidades; and two nights in Furnas, with time to explore the hot water natural pools. Departures year-round, priced from £1,395pp.

● Ukraine: The latest addition to Regent’s portfolio of tours visiting the Chernobyl exclusion zone is a seven-day group tour led by an experienced photography specialist, spending four days exploring this region. The itinerary includes visiting abandoned villages, the town of Pripyat, Reactor 4 and its control room, and an abandoned military base, as well as inhabited villages and meeting people who live here – all with expert photography guidance and trips. Departing in October 2022, priced from £1,495pp.

● Georgia: This new 12-day group tour to Georgia is ideal for first-time visitors to the country. Starting in Tblisi, where there’s time to explore with a guide and at leisure, the itinerary visits the high Caucasus near the Russian border; Soviet-era monuments; Silk Road trading centres; medieval castles and cave monasteries; beer tasting; mountain railways; wine tasting; farmers markets and more. Departing in May 2022, priced from £2,990pp.
