Agents can now book MSC Seascape
MSC Cruises has opened bookings for MSC Seascape, the line’s second Seaside EVO class ship, to be delivered in late November.
The ship will sail from Miami starting December 2022 to perform her inaugural season in the Caribbean.
MSC Seascape will offer two different seven-night itineraries from Port Miami:
Eastern Caribbean: Calling at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve and Nassau in The Bahamas, San Juan in Puerto Rico, and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic.
Western Caribbean: Calling at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Cozumel in Mexico, George Town in the Cayman Islands and Ocho Rios in Jamaica.
Sales are also now open for the other two MSC Cruises ships that will sail out of the U.S in the Caribbean next winter.
MSC Divina will homeport in Port Miami with a new programme of mixed Friday or Monday departures including: 10-night sailings to Jamaica, Colombia, Panama, and Costa Rica, three or four-night mini-cruises to The Bahamas calling at Nassau with an overnight at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve and seven-night cruises visiting Belize, Honduras, Mexico, and Ocean Cay.
MSC Meraviglia will homeport in Port Canaveral. This new port close to Orlando, Florida is part of MSC Cruises’ plans to expand in this region. From October 2022, MSC Meraviglia will offer: Mini-cruises to The Bahamas that all include Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve and seven-night sailings that include Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico, Belize, and Ocean Cay.
APT launches new Balkans cruise and agent incentive
APT has created a ‘first look’ special offer for Vega’s maiden voyages. The operator has unveiled two new seven-night Balkan cruises in March and April 2022, Balkan Adventure and Legends of the Balkans, each with limited availability and costing £1,199pp.
All Balkans bookings are eligible for APT’s recently announced Book More, Earn More Peaks incentive, where agents can earn up to £40-worth of Love2Shop codes for every booking they register before January 31, 2022.
Balkan Adventure sailings will take place on March 21 and April 4, while Legends of the Balkans departures will operate on March 28 and April 11.
Seabourn debuts campaign targeted at over 50s
Seabourn has launched a new brand campaign today, themed 'This Is Your Moment'. The multi-platform campaign will run via television, print, and digital media.
The campaign rolls out ahead of the line’s 2022 inaugural expedition voyages and is designed to engage travellers who are passionate about exploring destinations of inspiring beauty, activity, and culture at the most opportune “moment” in their lives.
According to market research conducted by Grace Creative, women over 50 make 87% of travel decisions, hold $19 trillion in assets, and account for 80% of travel advisors who are vital to the Seabourn business.
“Our research points to the fact that each household has a decision maker who drives the travel planning process,” said Josh Leibowitz, President of Seabourn.
“With Grace Creative, we identified the empowered and affluent female decision maker as one of our core customer targets and created this new campaign centred on the theme ‘This is Your Moment.”
CroisiEurope launches first ever agent incentive
CroisiEurope has launched its first ever travel agent booking incentive.
The CroisiEurope Sales Challenge, which runs until December 31, 2022, will give all travel agents in the UK the chance to earn points which can be exchanged for a variety of trips, ranging from a two-night hotel break in the UK to a safari-cruise in Southern Africa.
To join the CroisiEurope Sales Challenge, travel agents should register at https://pro-uk.croisieurope.com/information/challenge-2022-uk-travel-agents. As soon as their registration has been validated, they will automatically receive 250 points to kick start their challenge followed by points based on the turnover they achieve.
There will also be bonus points on offer throughout the duration of the challenge which participating agents will be advised about. Once enough points have been accumulated, agents can exchange them for a trip of their choice as follows
2,000 points = a voucher for a two-night hotel break in the UK
5,000 points = a weekend cruise to a European destination of their choice
10,000 points = a five- or six-day European river cruise
20,000 points = a seven- or eight-day European river or ocean cruise
25,000 points = an ocean cruise onboard La Belle des Ocean
30,000 points = a Mekong cruise
35,000 points = a safari-cruise in Southern Africa
Points can be earned on all individual sales with departure dates between now and December 31, 2022. Group sales, charters and any deferred bookings using Refund Credit Notes are not eligible for points.

Windstar offers booking incentive
Between now and February 28, 2022, agents making any new-to-Windstar booking will earn an additional £100 on top of their usual commission, made up of £80 in cash and a £20 voucher of their choice.
There is no limit to the number of bookings, so the more new-to-Windstar cruises agents book, the more money they will earn.
It has also launched its Wave season offer, ‘Pick Your Perk’, which gives guests the option to choose from the following:
Up to $1,000 onboard credit per stateroom
Up to two free Easy Stay hotel nights including transfer between hotel and yacht, full breakfast, WiFi and resort fees and taxes.
Guests can pick one complimentary perk, the value of which varies depending on the length of the cruise and the room category they book.
Princess extends Book with Confidence
Princess Cruises has extended its Book with Confidence programme, and extended health and safety protocols.
Book with Confidence is now extended to summer 2022 sailings, including all cruises departing through September 30, 2022, for all bookings made by March 2, 2022. The programme allows guests the flexibility to change their holiday plans up to 30 days prior to the day of departure, receiving cancellation fees as a future cruise credit to then book another voyage.
Additionally, Princess Cruises will continue to operate vaccinated cruises for guests who have received their final dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine at least 14-days prior to the sailing day and have proof of vaccination.
