CroisiEurope's Southern African dream trip
CroisiEurope is offering savings of £475pp on an eight-night Southern Africa safari cruise.
Visiting South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe, it will feature a four-day exclusive cruise on Lake Kariba, a four-day stay in a luxury lodge and land and water safaris in Chobe and Matusadona National Parks.
The cruise on Lake Kariba will take place on the RV African Dream or the RV Zimbabwean Dream, both of which can accommodate 16 guests in eight suites.
Six of the suites feature French balconies while the remaining two deluxe suites have full balconies.
Dining onboard both boats will include local delicacies such as bream and tilapia from the lake.
The featured luxury accommodation, Kaza Lodge, is located on Impalila Island in northeast Namibia, its eight bungalows built around a 700-year-old baobab tree and each with a private terrace and swimming pool offering views over the riverbanks and the savannah.
Cascades safari lodge is situated on CroisiEurope’s own Private Island where the Chobe River meets the Zambezi, with eight bungalows with private splash pool, open-air shower and panoramic views.
Also included are overnights in Johannesburg and Victoria Falls as well as a lunch cruise on the Zambezi river.
The saving of £475pp is valid on all departures between February and August 2022, with prices from £4,532pp.
Just Go! partners with A-Rosa for 2022
Just Go! Holidays has teamed up with A-ROSA River Cruises for 2022 to feature cruises on the Douro, Rhone, Danube and Seine.
The operator says the move enables it to grow its premium product range and widen its river cruise portfolio.
Depending on the destination, each cruise will be packaged with either coach travel from the UK to the ship or flights from a range of regional airports.
Itineraries on sale include the 10-day ‘Cruising the Rhone, Burgundy, Provence and the Camargue’, priced from £1,449pp, departing June 10 and September 9 and 23 2022; the eight-day ‘Cruising the Seine, Paris and Normandy’, from £1,249pp and departing June 23 and September 29 2022; the10-day ‘Cruising the Blue Danube’, from £1,599pp and with sailings on June 10 and September 9 and 23 2022; and an eight-day ‘Portugal’s Beautiful Douro River’, from £1,759pp departing June 1, July 20 and September 14 and 28, 2022.
‘Portugal’s Douro River & A Taste of Porto’ combines a seven-night cruise with two nights in Porto. Available on June 1, July 20 or September 14 and 28 2022, it is priced from £2,059pp.
Whilst on the ship, customers are signed up to A-ROSA’s premium all-inclusive package, which includes all meals, drinks and use of the spa facilities plus a host of other benefits.
Coach breaks also include an overnight hotel stay en-route on the first and last night on a B&B basis.
Princess Cruises plans longest-ever world cruise
The stand-out itinerary of Princess Cruises 2023-2024 Australia and New Zealand cruises and cruise tours season, which will go on sale December 1, is the line's longest-ever world cruise from Australia.
Four MedallionClass ships - Majestic Princess, Royal Princess, Grand Princess and Coral Princess - will sail to 117 destinations in 43 countries across Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, Southeast Asia, Europe and South America.
Programme highlights include the 110-night world cruise onboard Coral Princess, departing April 30, 2024 from Sydney and May 2, 2024 from Brisbane.
The cruise includes departures from six Australia and New Zealand homeports including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth (Fremantle), Adelaide, and Auckland; extended ‘More Ashore’ stays in a variety of destinations including overnights in Tahiti (Papeete) and Cairns, as well as late night stays in Auckland, Hong Kong, Honolulu, San Francisco, Tahiti (Papeete) and Vancouver; and access to over 14 UNESCO World Heritage Sites including The Gondwana Rainforests of Australia (from Port Douglas), the Greater Blue Mountains (from Sydney) and The Tasmanian Wilderness (from Burnie).
Guests booking the 110-night world cruise by April 30, 2022 will receive AUD$1,000 onboard credit per person.
Ponant's new pole-to-pole campaign
PONANT has launched its 'The North Pole, The South Pole, And You' campaign which introduces its new hybrid-electric polar exploration ship.
Featuring Le Commandant Charcot, a ship powered by liquefied natural gas, the campaign launched in the UK on November 15 and will continue to roll out in 2022.
It is supported by a 100% digital communication plan promoting the immersive experience of video format via social networks and programmatic.
A spokesperson for the French cruise line commented: "Travelling aboard is an invitation to awaken to a world of sensations, knowledge and respect for the nature that surrounds us. This is a trip beyond exploration.
"Heading north, at the boundaries of extreme lands, or heading south, in the heart of the legendary 'White Continent', a cruise on Le Commandant Charcot is an adventure, an expedition, a polar odyssey, and a self-discovery only a few people will have the chance to experience in their lifetime."
They added: "Approaching the poles is very much like approaching space. It helps us realize how small we are as humans. Le Commandant Charcot is an experience whose magic transforms the traveller."
Le Commandant Charcot is the first hybrid-electric high polar exploration ship powered by liquefied natural gas. It is also fitted with facilities and equipment for research, providing the scientific world with a platform for observation, research and analysis to study the polar eco-systems.
Sail Croatia’s 2022 programme
Sail Croatia has put its programme of 2022 cruises on sale, featuring 450 small ship sailings and 16 itineraries.
Operating from April to October and departing via Split or Dubrovnik, destinations include Hvar, Korcula and Zadar, as well as lesser-known islands such as Vis, Lastovo and Mljet.
Five types of cruise, all for seven days, are on offer. There are 'Elegance cruises', luxury sailings for up to 38 guests, priced from £899pp; 'Explorer cruises', for travellers in their 20s and 30s as well as ‘young at heart’ travellers, for up to 40 guests, priced from £589pp; 'Navigator cruises', sailings for 18-39-year-olds that include the nightlife of Hear, priced from £409pp; 'Cycle cruises', for travellers looking to explore Croatia on two wheels, from £639pp; and 'Hike cruises' for active travellers who want to explore their surroundings on foot, priced from £539pp.
All cruises include a buffet breakfast and a three-course lunch daily, tour manager and wi-fi. A fully stocked bar is onboard which operates a tab system.

Holland America's Black Friday deals
Holland America is offering a selected range of Black Friday cruises, bookable until November 30.
The Have It All package, featuring a reduced deposit of £99pp, is worth over $200 per stateroom per week and includes a drinks package, one speciality dining experience, two shore excursions, wI-fI and crew appreciation (gratuities) for a week.
The Black Friday deals include a seven-night Mediterranean Rivieras cruise on Nieuw Statendam, departing May 1 and 8 2022, priced from £1,499pp (including free air from London and regional airports).
Leaving from Barcelona the cruise will stop at Monte Carlo, Florence/Pisa, Sardinia, Sicily, Palermo, Naples (Pompeii) before guests disembark in Rome. Further afield, an 18-night Circle Hawaii cruise on Koningsdam, departing February 2, April 10 2022 and January 31 and April 8 2023 is priced from £2,329pp (fly/cruise from £3,129pp).
This San Diego round-trip cruise will offer the chance to learn surfing in Honolulu and will also stop in Ensenada Mexico.
Black Friday offers from Princess
Princess Cruises Black Friday sale, which runs until November 29, 2021, features reduced fares and a low deposit of £50pp on Southampton-based itineraries for next year.
In total, 22 voyages are featured, ranging from seven - 14 nights and departing between April and September 2022.
Fourteen of the itineraries sail around the British Isles round-trip from Southampton on the 3,080-guest Emerald Princess. Fares start from £499pp for an eight-night cruise, calling at Portland, St. Peter Port, Cobh, Dublin, Holyhead, and Greenock. Departs May 1, 2022.
The other eight voyages are on the 3,660-guest Sky Princess, one of the newest ships in the Princess fleet, with itineraries to the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, and Norway. Fares start from £599pp for a seven-night Norwegian Fjords cruise, calling at Bergen, Skjolden/Sognefjord, Olden, Stavanger, with departures on April 23 and June 4, 2022.
