Bourbon initiative from Kentucky

Covington, Frankfort and Bardstown in Kentucky have launched a Come Find Bourbon website, highlighting the state’s bourbon experiences.
The marketing initiative invites visitors to Covington, Frankfort, and Bardstown to experience the best of Kentucky Bourbon Country, including world-class distilleries, bourbon-themed restaurants, field-to-glass tours and bourbon-inspired museums.
The three destinations offer 21 distilleries between them and are within a short distance of one another, making the ideal combination for bourbon lovers.
“Kentucky is the birthplace of ‘America’s Native Spirit’ and crafts 95% of all bourbon,” said Robin Antenucci, Executive Director Frankfort/Franklin County Tourist & Convention Commission. “Tourists made a record 1.4 million stops to Kentucky distilleries in 2018. Frankfort, Covington, and Bardstown offer easy access to over 20 distilleries.”
Mike Mangeot, Executive Director Bardstown-Nelson County Tourism Commission adds: “Bardstown, Frankfort, and Covington offer a full spectrum of genuine Kentucky Bourbon Country experiences. One clear benefit for tourists is the fact that all three destinations are near one another, so this trip is an easy drive route with short distances between stops.”
Agents can access information on Kentucky's bourbon experiences and more in the new Holiday and Travel Guide to Kentucky, available with the September issue of Selling Travel.
