G Adventures introduces ‘Classic’ trips

G Adventures has added a series of new ‘Classic’ trips to its 2025 portfolio.

Highlights include value-for-money safaris in Africa and multi-country trips in Central America that were previously available only to travellers aged up to 39.

The tour operator has also brought back trips to Tibet and expanded its itineraries in China and South Korea.

For those visiting Africa, the new trip will feature a fully refurbished fleet of ‘Lando’ overland vehicles.

Updates include an improved purified water dispenser, AI units to enhance driving efficiency and safety, upgraded USB charging units for each seat and new campaign equipment such as upgraded tents, chairs and mattresses.

Older travellers in Central America will now have access to El Salvador and Honduras, which were only visited by ’18-to-Thirtysomethings’ trips.

Tibet is making a return for the first time since Covid, while South Korea has become a trending destination.

New trips are ‘Johannesburg to East Africa Overland Safari’; ‘Central America in Seven Countries: Mexico to Costa Rica’; ‘Essential Tibet’; and ‘Korea and Japan Encompassed’.

Yves Marcaeu, Vice President of Product at G Adventures, said: “When we looked at the data, we could clearly see the time is right to open up a set of fast-paced, longer, more basic itineraries to an older crowd looking to see and do as much as they can.

“These are longer trips that have been traditionally more popular with younger travellers who typically have less money and more time. We certainly have a segment of customers who are growing older, yet still looking for a more ‘rugged’ and exploratory style of adventure. These trips are perfect for them and the prices can’t be beaten.”
