Friendship Travel has introduced a range of new trips to tap into the ‘MeMooner’ trend.
The solo travel provider has expanded its offering to meet the growing demand of solo travellers, who have been dubbed as ‘MeMooners’.
This trend is echoed in Hilton’s Annual Trends Report, in which 64% of solo travellers consider a good book their favourite travel partner.
Seven-night trips include Corfu in Greece, Sicily in Italy and Pefkos in Greece. On-site hosts will be available for those who find solo excursions daunting.
Guests heading to Corfu will stay at Apollo Studios – Exclusive with a studio for solo use. MeMooners can explore local villages and sample exceptional Greek cuisine. There will be four dinners per week with half a bottle of wine at the Onima Restaurant. Prices start from £895, with departure on May 16 2025.
Hotel VOI Marsa Sicla Essentia is the 4-star hotel for those travelling to Sicily. Guests can spend the day relaxing along the private beaches or enjoy live music in the evenings. There will be a double room for sole use on a half board basis. Prices start from £1,475, with departure on June 15 2025.
Those travelling to Pefkos will stay at Pefkos Village Resort. Guests can stay in a double or twin room and spend their days relaxing by the pool or exploring Rhodes Old Town. There is also an onsite restaurant or taverna for those craving Greek cuisine. Prices start from £955, with departure on May 10 2025.
