Trips offer views of the Rockies and have been designed with Indigenous communities in mind

Alpine Helicopters has partnered with the Stoney Nakoda nation to offer four new tours by air.

From this May through October, Alpine Helicopters is offering four new sightseeing trips from its new Stoney Nakoda base, which is located just 20 minutes west of Canmore on the Trans-Canada Highway and an hour from Calgary by car.

The tours have been designed with the local Indigenous culture in mind and each offers unique and spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains. They are the ​​Warrior Lookout (tok yapébi baha) Tour; Spirit Water (mĩnĩ Wakã) Tour; Sleeping Warrior (ĩstĩmãbi ĩyãħé) Tour; and Great Divide (otħnĩktã) Tour.  

Flights vary from 20 to 60 minutes, and are priced from CAN$220 to CAN$260.
