Customers will be transported back to the golden age of steam on an unforgettable journey to experience the sights and sounds of a different era! It combines the historic delights of Cambridge with the charm of the 1923-built Flying Scotsman, the nation’s favourite steam train. They can sit back and relax as it meanders through the picturesque landscape of water meadows, idyllic farmland and a country park during the steam-hauled round-trip journey on the Nene Valley Railway.
There is also time to explore the university city of Cambridge, with its beautiful architecture, parks and college buildings, including the famous King’s College Chapel on the banks of the River Cam.
The Flying Scotsman Steam Train and Classic Cambridge three-day break is priced from £219pp. Price includes return coach travel from selected pick-up points around England, two-nights’ accommodation with breakfast and dinner, the train journey and free time in Cambridge.
