First Class Holidays has integrated WhatsApp with its phone systems to provide agents with a speedy way to contact their team of travel experts.
Daniel Gathercole, Managing Director, commented: “We listened to agents, and we understand how busy they can be and how quickly they may need an answer, especially if they have a client in-store.
“For this reason, we have launched WhatsApp as a method of communication, ensuring they can get an answer quickly, and efficiently from our travel experts.
“WhatsApp is seamlessly integrated within our phone system so a travel agent will now be able to send a message from their phone, which will notify our entire team. A travel expert will then be able to pick it up and reply instantly. This reinforces how one of our key USP’s, ‘speed of service’, is important to us, and we are confident that this will give us a competitive advantage, especially for peaks,” he added.

The operator offers holidays to Canada, the U.S. Alaska, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and recently introduced a Japan programme, in association with Wendy Wu Tours.
