Finnair has a flash sale for customers heading to Lapland this winter.
The airline hopes the limited-time campaign will spark a Christmas miracle rush of bookings as it prepares to operate its biggest ever schedule to Lapland this winter, with up to 31 daily flights to the region’s gateways of Ivalo, Kemi-Tornio, Kittila, Kuusamo and Rovaniemi (the ‘Official Hometown’ of Santa Claus).
The new winter schedule marks a 27% increase in Finnair flights to Lapland over 2023, with customers heading for Rovaniemi now able to choose from flights departing as often as every 30 minutes during peak periods.
Return flights to Rovaniemi start from £227 in Economy, including taxes and charges as part of the sale, while Business Class fares start at only £659.
Finnair customers can make the most of the special fares when booking flights between now and September 26 2024, for travel between October 1 2024 and February 13 2025.
Finnair operates year-round flights to all major destinations in Lapland, with regular connections via Helsinki.
The services have been timed to allow for easy connections from the airline’s UK destinations: London Heathrow, Manchester and Edinburgh, with flights also available from Dublin.
