The arline says the additional service has been introduced to meet sustained demand for international travel with Emirates seeing a steady uptick in bookings over recent weeks. Flights leave Newcastle on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, departing Newcastle at 21.10 and arriving in Dubai at 07:25 the following day.

Richard Jewsbury, Emirates Divisional Vice President in the UK, said: “Scaling up operations to Newcastle will provide even better connectivity to the North East and we’re thrilled to be adding more capacity. Bookings to Dubai and beyond have been steadily growing and our forecasts expect this trend to continue over the peak summer period and beyond.”
