Double connectivity for Cook Islands

A partnership between Air Tahiti Nui and Air Rarotonga will improve connections across Europe

Air Tahiti Nui and Air Rarotonga have partnered to improve connectivity to French Polynesia via the hubs at Faa’a international airport in Papeete (PPT) and Rarotonga international airport (RAR).

Passengers will be able to make their entire journey on a single ticket, with improved connections and reduced waiting time for connections.

To ensure optimal connectivity, Air Tahiti Nui operates up to seven flights per week between Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Papeete (PPT) via Los Angeles (LAX), up to 11 flights per week between Los Angeles and Tahiti, and two flights per week Seattle-Tahiti.

This high frequency means that travellers from France, Europe and North America can reach French Polynesia with ease, before continuing their journey to the Cook Islands thanks to optimised connections with Air Rarotonga.

The Papeete/Rarotonga flights are operated jointly by Air Rarotonga (GZ) and Air Tahiti (VT), making it possible to offer four round trips per week to and from Papeete via Air Tahiti Nui.
