A host of travel specialists enjoyed an evening of networking, music and nibbles at Discover Puerto Rico’s terrace takeover event in London.
Held at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge on the fifth-floor terrace, the launch marked Discover Puerto Rico’s first partnership with the luxury department store. Hills Balfour organised the event.
Travel operators and marketers attended, including representatives from cazenove+loyd, Connoisseur Travel Collection and USAirtour Holidays.
The Caribbean event featured a cocktail menu by Bacardi, including a mojito, Piña Colada and Rum Old Fashioned. Light bites inspired by local cuisine were also on offer, such as Chicken Pincho (chicken skewers with pineapple and rum chutney), Tostones (crispy plantain with Puerto Rican mayo ketchup), Mofongo (breaded prawns with Mojo de Ajo) and Arroz con Dulce (coconut rice pudding).
There was also a mojito masterclass, a DJ and a portrait painting session by British artist Hatty Pedder. Native flowers and colourful furnishings completed the tropical takeover.

Guests left with goody bags at the end of the night, complete with treats from Harvey Nichols and Bacardi.
The Discover Puerto Rico Terrace Takeover will run until August 31.
