Mangia’s Resorts to open new Italy property

Mangia’s Santa Teresa Sardinia, a new 199-guestroom hotel on Sardinia’s northern coast, will join five other hotels under the Curio Collection and Hilton brand in Italy from 2024.

Nestled along the shores of Santa Reparata Bay, Mangia’s Santa Teresa Sardinia, will offer access to a private beach with beds exclusively for hotel guests. Guests will be able to take advantage of a variety of watersports, including standup paddle boarding and canoeing.

Of the hotel’s guest rooms, half will include a balcony or private outdoor patio, while many will also have sea views. Amenities include two outdoor swimming pools, a tennis court, gym and wellness area with four treatment rooms.

Featuring two restaurants and a bar, guests will be able to choose between a light bite by the pool or an indulgent meal. The hotel’s signature Italian restaurant, Donna Floriana, will offer fresh fish served in both traditional and inventive Italian recipes. International cuisines will be served at the hotel’s buffet restaurant, Perseo, while Lime, the hotel’s pool bar with panoramic views, will serve drinks.

Located near Santa Teresa di Gallura, there are hiking trails in Capo Testa and, further afield, towns like Bosa with its pastel-coloured houses. Beyond the main island of Sardinia, the Maddalena Archipelago, with its pristine beaches, small undisturbed islands and charming port town, is a short boat ride away, while the island of Corsica is just a 14-kilometre boat trip away, perfect for a day trip.
