Virgin Voyages has unveiled plans for a 2026 Red Hot Sailing Club Voyage aboard the Brilliant Lady, with the newly named voyage departing Miami for the Caribbean on March 12.
The cruise will embrace elements of Virgin Voyages’ 2025 Celebration Voyages, which celebrate the cruise line’s legacy and history by featuring special guests, behind-the-scenes peeks and musical acts that are a nod to its rock ‘n’ roll roots.
Disco icon Kathy Sledge (of Sister Sledge fame) and ex-Spice Girl Melanie C are among the headline acts appearing on sailings this year.
Kathy Sledge will entertain guests onboard the Resilient Lady, which will leave from Athens next week (May 18), while Mel C will perform onboard the Scarlet Lady, which will depart from Lisbon on July 22 2025. The five-night sailing will make stops in Porto and La Coruña before concluding in Portsmouth and promises a “blend of coastal charm and bohemian spirit.”
Spring Sale with Celebrity Cruises
Celebrity Cruises has rolled out its new Spring Sale with savings of up to 75% on second guests in staterooms until June 2. Passengers can also save up to $400 during the sale. Cruise fares are free for third, fourth and fifth guests on select sailings in the Caribbean, Alaska and Europe. Highlights include island hopping in the Caribbean onboard the new Celebrity Xcel; exploring the natural beauty of Alaska while onboard Celebrity Edge; sailing through the Mediterranean with overnight options and joining the 110-night Grand Voyage to over 50 destinations across 15 countries.
Amadeus introduces summer campaign
Amadeus River Cruises has launched a summer campaign with offers on 2025 departures. Guests can claim complimentary flight credit up to the value of £300 and free overseas transfers on select 2025 European voyages when booked before June 15. Valid cruises are: Rhine & Danube Symphony; Classical Danube; Treasures of Burgundy & Provence; Danube Cruise with Elisabeth Von Trapp; Rhine in Flames; Danube Rhapsody and Classical Rhine. Agents earn an additional 5% “commission uplift” when booking.
Avalon Waterways goes after hours
Avalon Waterways has introduced new after-hours river cruising experience for 2026. Avalon After Dark promises to “keep the night alive” with “impromptu dance parties and late-night explorations”. New updates include a fresh bar menu of premium and non-alcoholic cocktails created by mixologist Martin Hudák and Sky Grill Dinners, an open-air dining experience. There will also be live music in the Panorama Lounge and overnight docking in European cities such as Budapest, Vienna, Amsterdam, Rüdesheim and Avignon.
Ambassador puts drinks on sale
Passengers can enjoy half print drinks with Ambassador Cruise Line’s new sales campaign. Called ‘Raise your Spirits with Half Price Drinks’, the offer is valid on selected sailings onboard Ambience and Ambition in 2025, 2026 and 2027. Those booking between today (May 15) and July 9 2025 can get 50% off on the Expedition drinks package when booking the Ambassador Fare. Groups of 15 guests or more can claim additional benefits, including a 5% discount on selected sailings.
For groups of 25 adults, Ambassador is offering one more place for free while groups of 50 receive two free places.
