Azamara holds biggest ever agent ship visit

Azamara recently held its largest ever UK agent ship visit. 52 agents from across the UK congregated in Liverpool to visit Azamara Journey, spending the day touring the ship and sampling Azamara cuisine with a four-course meal in Aqualina, the ship’s specialty restaurant.
Azamara is committed to undertaking 13 ship visits in 2025 with a total of 350 agents currently signed up to participate. Remaining ship visits this year include Leith, Edinburgh (August 16), Cobh (September 4) and Portsmouth (September 6), all aboard Azamara Journey.
Speaking about the ship visit, Matthew Greenwood of Gold Medal, said: “The biggest learning from this visit is the Azamara late night stays in port and the ‘More Inclusions’ package that Azamara offers.”
Jess Hartly, Paramount Cruises, said: “We were lucky enough to dine in Aquilina, we enjoyed five amazing courses, and I had probably had one of the best steaks at sea. It was unbelievable.”
David Duff, Managing Director, UK & EMEA at Azamara Cruises, added: “Agent engagement plays a major part in our UK strategy, and we are delighted to have achieved nearly 1,800 agent engagements in the last few months.
“From hosting agents at travel industry conferences and staging seminars at sea, to our Sister’s Meet event in Barcelona earlier this year, we remain committed to giving our trade partners the tools and knowledge they need to sell Azamara with confidence.”
