Holland America has introduced two new solar eclipse cruises for summer 2027 which will allow guests to experience a total solar eclipse on August 2.
Nieuw Statendam will operate a 28-day ‘Legendary Solar Eclipse and Cosmic Port Explorer’ round-trip voyage from Dover on July 9, 2027. Prices start from £6,299pp.
The 14-day ‘Mediterranean Solar Eclipse and Astronomical Discover’ itinerary will take place aboard the Oosterdam. Departing on July 31, 2027, fares start from £3,719pp.
For a limited time, guests who book 2027 solar eclipse and northern lights cruises with the ‘Have It All’ early booking bonus will receive shore excursion credit, speciality dining credit, prepaid crew appreciation, the Elite Beverage package, premium Wi-Fi and up to US $300pp onboard credit.

ATP & Travelmarvel goes full steam ahead in Europe
ATP & Travelmarvel has unveiled its 2026 ‘Europe Collection’ that features enhancements to its luxury and premium river cruises.
These include more capacity on key German river cruises, with the introduction of a new itinerary, ‘The Rhine and Moselle’, priced from £2,195pp; a one-off sailing of a 15-day ‘Voyage through the Balkans’, departing on March 13, 2026 and priced from £4,995pp; and a 15-day one-off ‘Western Front Explorer’ cruise, departing March 13, 2026 and with a price tag that starts from £5,395pp.

Cruise Plus celebrates new campaign with giveaway
Cruise Plus has launched a brand new campaign, The Cruise Plus Portfolio, a 52-page printed and digital book.
To celebrate the launch, agents who book with Cruise Plus by July 31 can enter their package bookings into a prize draw to win either £250, £500 or £1,000 in Farebank Rewards. All Cruise Plus package bookings can be entered, and winners will be announced in August.
The book features several of Cruise Plus’ cruise line partners including Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Princess, Ponant, Silversea, Oceania, American River Cruise and Aqua.
