Celestyal introduces new winter sailings onboard Celestyal Journey
Celestyal has announced seven new winter 2027/28 sailing options onboard the 1,260-guest Celestyal Journey, alongside the launch of its full 2028 Mediterranean programme featuring 124 itineraries across Greece, the Adriatic and the wider region.
Operating from December 2027, Celestyal Journey will offer four seven-night Mediterranean Mosaics voyages between Athens and Istanbul, starting from £629pp. These itineraries call at destinations including Alexandria, Limassol, Rhodes, and Heraklion.
Travel agents can also book consecutive departures to combine these into 14-night Three Continents Explorer voyages, priced from £1,099pp. The move brings back a refreshed version of Celestyal’s popular three-continents concept, providing increased choice across shoulder and winter seasons.
Looking further ahead, the cruise line’s 2028 programme will run from March to November. Celestyal Journey will feature eight departures of the seven-night Heavenly Greece, Italy and Croatia (from £719pp) and 30 departures of the seven-night Idyllic Greece (from £719pp), alongside 14-night combination voyages.
Meanwhile, Celestyal Discovery will focus on short breaks, offering 35 three-night and 35 four-night Iconic Greek Islands sailings roundtrip from Athens. All fares continue to include dining, select drinks with meals, WiFi, port fees, and gratuities.
HX Expeditions details fleet enhancements and new anniversary offers
HX Expeditions has launched a comprehensive series of guest-focused fleet enhancements designed to elevate the expedition experience before departure, onboard and ashore, supported by two limited-time 130th-anniversary savings offers.
To streamline the pre-voyage process, HX has introduced a personalized pre-departure portal providing guests with bespoke itinerary details and digital prep guides.
Once onboard, a new dedicated app live across MS Fridtjof Nansen, MS Roald Amundsen, MS Fram, and MS Spitsbergen allows passengers to manage daily schedules, book excursions, and secure dining reservations in real time.
Additional shipboard upgrades include a 24/7 Grab & Go station serving fresh meals in sustainable glass containers, natural Austrian Vinoble Cosmetics spa treatments, and eco-friendly Groundtruth travel gear.
To coincide with these operational rollouts, HX is offering an additional 5% discount on cabins and 10% off suites for bookings made between September 1 and November 9, 2026, applicable to selected sailings departing between October 2026 and March 2028.
Additionally, European travellers can access a dedicated flight offer on the Ultimate Norway – Arctic Expedition itinerary, which includes free Economy flights or 50% off Premium and Business Class fares for bookings made by January 31, 2027.
Uniworld launches 2027 ‘Spectacular Journeys of the World’ collection
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has released its 148-page Spectacular Journeys of the World Collection brochure for 2027, introducing an expanded portfolio of ultra-luxury, multi-modal itineraries that fully incorporate sister brand Luxury Gold into its programme.
The comprehensive collection brings together river, rail, and land travel across multiple continents. Highlights include new flight-inclusive Cruise and Tour packages, such as the 14-day Savour Northern Italy itinerary (from £6,849pp), which pairs a seven-night cruise aboard S.S. La Venezia with land touring through Milan, Lake Como, Verona, and the Dolomites.
