Hit the rails with new Cox & Kings tours

The new trips are fuelled in part by client demand for climate conscious travel.

Cox & Kings has introduced 10 new Europe by Rail itineraries.

The new tours, which all start in the UK, include Belgium, Austria, Germany, Spain, France, Switzerland, Czechia, Poland, Hungary and Romania.

Travellers can choose The Rhineland by Rail; Journey through Central Europe; Vienna to Brasov by Rail; Gdańsk to Vienna by Rail; In the footsteps of the Plantagenets; Champagne, Lorraine & Burgundy by Rail; Vienna, Munich & Zurich by Rail; London to Madrid by Rail; Bohemia to Berlin and Bavaria and Bohemia.

The itineraries follow consumer demands for climate-conscious travel, immersive cultural experiences, nostalgia-driven travel, slow travel and journey travel.

Operated by European Sleeper trains, the new routes have been designed with “train comfort and simplicity” in mind.

Routes are available as tailormade itineraries, which are to be completed independently, with guiding and experiences ranging from wine tastings in Burgundy to hot springs in Aachen.

These are offered and arranged by Cox & Kings upon request. Some routes include flights but can be arranged as rail only.

George Colvin-Slee, Product Manager at Cox & Kings, said: “We’ve seen huge enthusiasm for rail itineraries over the last few years and we’re thrilled to be launching this new collection.

“Cox & Kings has always focused on providing immersive and knowledge-based itineraries for the culturally curious and through this rail series, clients can get closer to the captivating landscapes and must-visit sites across Europe.”
