Canadian Affair celebrates new trade website launch

Canadian Affair has unveiled a new website including a new and improved Travel Agent Portal.

This enhanced hub provides access to news and updates, details on current booking incentives, and a wealth of downloadable marketing materials, including posters, images and videos.

The aim is to equip travel agents with all the tools they need to effectively promote and sell holidays to Canada.

Key to the website is the new Find My Holiday tool, an innovative feature that allows agents to filter holidays by duration, budget, and other preferences, to quickly and easily find the perfect Canadian getaway for their clients. This new functionality allows agents to present tailored options to their customers.

To mark the launch of the site, Canadian Affair is inviting agents to participate in a special competition to win five £50 John Lewis vouchers.

There are five independent tasks to complete, agents can submit entries for as many or few of the tasks as they like, but their chances of winning are increased the more entries they submit.

The five tasks are:

1) Visit the Marketing Materials section within the travel agent area. Use the filters to find the Québec City poster and download it. Submission of the poster amounts to one entry.

2) Visit the Find My Holiday page. Filter Holiday Type to ‘Adventure’ and Location to ‘Niagara Falls’. Submission of the name of the holiday result amounts to one entry.

3) Visit the Current Incentives section within the travel agent area. Tell us which cruise line we are offering bonus rewards for in May. Submission of the correct answer amounts to one entry.

4) Visit the News & Updates section within the travel agent area. Tell us the name of our new style FAM trip running in May. Submission of the correct answer amounts to one entry.

5) Visit the Special Offers section. Click ‘explore’ under the second listed offer and copy the URL of the page you’re taken to. Submission of the correct URL amounts to one entry.

Agents are required to submit their entries to marketing@canadianaffair.com by 5.30pm on May 10.

Winners will be selected at random following the closing date, and contacted shortly after.

Nick Talbot, head of marketing at Canadian Affair, comments: “We are excited about the launch of our new website and the new features it offers, as our goal has always been to support our agent partners with the best tools and resources. We believe that the new Travel Agent Portal and the ‘Find My Holiday’ tool will significantly improve the way agents interact with our products and help them sell our holidays more effectively.”
