Byway puts new flight-free trip on sale

UK travellers can visit the Islands of Guernsey without setting foot on an aeroplane from March 31.

Byway’s new seven-day package, which is priced from £680pp, will depart year-round each Sunday.

This includes train and ferry transportation, accommodation, a journey guide with tickets, disruption replanning and WhatsApp support.

The trip will begin by taking the train from London to the Dorset town of Poole, where guests can spend a night discovering its rich maritime history.

Visitors will then take the ferry across to St Peter Port for four days at leisure to explore Guernsey and its Islands.

Travellers are recommended to island-hop to Sark, Herm, and Alderney.

Other highlights include wild swimming, taking a stroll through the Islands’ dramatic landscapes, indulging in freshly-caught seafood or discovering Bailiwick’s many museums, historical sites and World War II bunkers.
