Audley Travel is looking to up its trade focus in 2023 with enhanced training and first fam trip.
The activity follows a successful 2022 for the operator with bookings from agents up 75% compared to 2021 and the number of agents booking with Audley doubling.
Plans include launching a wider range of agent-friendly marketing materials, which will include video content for the first time.
In addition, the operator will expand its training programme with more in-person training events, including further ‘Canada at the Movies’ events hosted in cinemas around the UK. Dates confirmed so far are Harrogate on February 8.
Audley will also be hosting a fam trip for the first time with agents visiting some of the operator’s most popular destinations.
Greg Thurston, Trade Sales Manager at Audley Travel, says: “It is really important for us to be able to give agents an in-depth understanding of how we work and the quality of service we provide their clients.
“We also want agents to experience this for themselves, and we will therefore be running our first ever agent fam trips later in the year. Priority will be given to agents who have qualified for our A-List loyalty club over the last year and these reward trips will have a major focus on experiences rather than hotel inspections and will visit some of our most popular destinations.”
