AmaWaterways has expanded its programme of Soulful Experiences sailings, which are designed to celebrate Black heritage and culture.
Joining the 2025 line-up is the Best of Holland & Belgium, while two new itineraries for 2026 are the Riches of the Mekong and Swiss Alps and Rhine Castles.
The Swiss Alps & Rhine Castles Christmas cruise offers a host of Black cultural connections along the Rhine River route, with two nights post-cruise in Amsterdam. Highlights include France’s oldest Christmas market in Strasbourg and open-air wine gardens. Departure is on December 15, with prices from £3,722pp.
The seven-night Best of Holland & Belgium experience will feature the island metropolis of Hellevoetsluis and its medieval harbour tour, as well as the working De Hoop windmill. There is also an optional two-night pre-cruise in Amsterdam (pictured). Departure is on December 27, 2025, with prices from £2,570pp.
Travellers embarking on the Riches of Mekong sailing will spend two nights in Ho Chi Minh City and seven nights aboard a cruise along the Mekong and a new central Vietnam land extension post-cruise. Activities include a four-night tour with two days in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hoi An and a Vietnamese cuisine cooking class. Departure is on October 12, 2025, with prices from £5,180pp.
A themed Enticing Douro cruise is also returning for 2026, alongside themed options in France and Egypt.
