Amadeus River Cruises has confirmed a second Rhine Concert Cruise featuring renowned Dutch conductor and violinist André Rieu, following the rapid sell-out of the inaugural sailing earlier this year.
The six-night Rhine Concert Cruise will sail from Cologne to Amsterdam, calling at Bonn, Nijmegen, Arnhem, Rotterdam and Dordrecht. The centrepiece of the itinerary is a live performance by André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome.
The sailing will take place on Amadeus Aurea, which is due to launch in May 2026. The new ship will feature a range of advanced environmental technologies, including a hybrid propulsion system and an efficient heat recovery system.
It will accommodate 158 guests across 12 spacious balcony suites and 67 cabins with panoramic windows, alongside facilities such as a Panorama Restaurant, sun deck with outdoor pool and Lido Bar, fitness room and River Terrace.
The cruise will depart on January 4, 2027, with prices from £1,969pp. The fare includes return flights from the UK, overseas transfers, the six-night cruise on a full-board basis, beer and wine with lunch and dinner, tickets to the André Rieu concert in Amsterdam, gratuities and €100 per person onboard credit.
Rieu founded the Johann Strauss Orchestra in 1987, turning classical music into a global spectacle with massive, romantic, and theatrical arena tours. He is one of the highest-grossing touring artists globally, having sold over 40 million albums.
