A&K adds product in Mexico

Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) is to expand its presence in Latin America with the opening of a Destination Management Company (DMC) in Mexico.

This move coincides with the company’s plans to open a property in Mexico over the coming year.

A&K’s expansion in Mexico follows the recent announcement of its plans to launch a luxury riverboat in Peru next year.

These developments underscore the company’s commitment to providing immersive and transformative travel experiences in Latin America.

A&K’s Mexico DMC will offer a wide range of services, including customised itineraries, exclusive access to unique experiences, and 24/7 on-the-ground support.

The company’s upcoming properties in the Yucatan will provide guests with luxurious accommodations, exceptional amenities, and immersive activities that showcase the region’s vibrant culture and natural beauty.

The Mexico DMC will be committed to sustainable tourism practices and supporting local communities through its philanthropic arm, Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy (AKP).

Rebecca Osman, Senior Vice President of A&K’s DMCs, added: “Mexico has long been a beloved destination for our guests, and the opening of our DMC here is a natural progression in our mission to deliver unrivalled travel experiences worldwide. With Graeme at the helm and our upcoming properties in the Yucatan, we are excited to offer our guests even more opportunities to discover the rich culture, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality of Mexico.”
