Air Transat will introduce the only direct flight from the UK to Québec City when its summer service starts on June 23.
The flight, from London Gatwick to Jean Lesage International Airport, will operate weekly, on a Sunday.
The airline also operates twice-daily from Gatwick to Toronto and daily to Montréal.
in addition, Air Transat offers daily services from Glasgow, Manchester and Dublin to Toronto, running until the end of October, with flights continuing from Manchester and Glasgow to Toronto through the winter season.
Economy return fares start from £367pp.
Meanwhile, following the announcement of Air Transat and Porter Airline’s joint venture, an evolution of the airlines’ codeshare agreement, UK passengers travelling with Air Transat’s services from London Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin can connect across Porter’s and Air Transat’s onward connections at Toronto Pearson and Montréal Trudeau airports to throughout Canada, the U.S., Peru, Mexico and the Caribbean.
