Agents who complete Pittsburgh’s online training via the Pittsburgh Pro’s platform before Friday April 7 can win one of five Marks & Spencer vouchers worth £100.
The incentive is being run to celebrate the launch of VisitPITTSBURGH’s new cycling module.
Launched in 2022, the Pittsburgh Pro’s e-learning programme consists of four modules providing an overview of the city, insight into the city’s unique experiences, popular tours, art, history and cuisine, and exploring the city by bike.
Each of the modules has six lessons and a short quiz to test agents’ knowledge as they learn. Those who successfully complete the programme will be crowned a Pittsburgh Pro and receive a PDF certificate.
Pittsburgh’s topographic blend of steep, winding hills and flat river areas makes it one of the best cities for cycling enthusiasts. It is home to the GAP Trail, connecting Pittsburgh to Washington D.C. over 150 miles, and in 2021 the city introduced a further 120 miles of ‘neighbourways’ offering a slower, safer alternative to navigating the city’s streets and its attractions.
Pittsburgh is also home to the Bicycle Heaven Museum which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. The oldest transportation museum dedicated exclusively to bicycles, the BHM showcases over 6,000 models with some available to rent.
