The Advantage Travel Partnership will return to the island of Malta for its 2025 flagship annual industry conference.
The three-night event will be hosted in partnership with Visit Malta and will take place on May 13 to 16 2025.
Julia Lo Bue-Said, CEO, Advantage Travel Partnership, said: “We last visited Malta in 2012 and are thrilled to be returning to a destination that has continued to see a great deal of investment and advancement in the last ten years, especially in reinventing itself to promote diversity, equality and inclusion.
“Malta offers us a destination that is able to offer everything and more for our conference including easy, flexible and affordable connectivity from the UK, high quality accommodation, great conference facilities as well as lots to do and see including the highest density of UNESCO world heritage sites that exist in a nation state.
“In Mexico we showcased travel as a force for good, with a commitment to shape the way the industry describes itself. When we asked delegates who attended our 2024 conference in Cancun how to describe their experience of the event, the three key words they used were Positive, Motivated and Excited, which is exactly what we wanted to achieve.
“Our most recent conference raised the bar in many areas, but we plan to be even more ambitious in 2025 not only with the business content, which our members will help shape over the coming months, but how we can further use philanthropic activities to deliver a positive impact to Malta and the people of Malta.”
She said in Malta there will be once again a strong bias on sustainability and ‘giving back’.
“The ever-popular immersive experiences will feature highly, giving delegates every opportunity to get to know the destination first-hand and what it offers the leisure and business traveller.”
Tolene van der Merwe, Director UK& Ireland, Visit Malta has said “The Advantage Travel Partnership conference is one of the key travel events in the calendar and we are delighted to be hosting it in Malta in 2025. We look forward to an insightful conference schedule looking at the current developments and issues our industry is facing.
“With flights available from 14 regional airports in the UK, we hope this makes Malta an attractive destination to visit for the conference.”
Registration will open soon.
