Ambassador Cruise Line has unveiled its 2028/29 season, marking the earliest programme launch since the cruise line was founded in 2021.
With bookings opening at 09.00 on March 12, 2026, the new season will feature a range of adult-only, no-fly cruises sailing between April 23, 2028 and March 29, 2029.
The programme includes 74 sailings and four “Christmas Party” event dates across the line’s two ships, Ambience and Ambition, departing from six UK ports: London Cruise Terminal in Tilbury, Newcastle Tyne, Dundee, Liverpool, Belfast and Portsmouth.
Ambassador says it will continue its adult-only policy across all sailings following strong guest feedback, allowing the cruise line to maintain a relaxed onboard atmosphere even during peak holiday periods.

The fleet will visit 108 ports across 30 countries and three continents during the season, covering more than 130,000 nautical miles.
Tilbury-based Ambience will embark on her sixth season in 2028/29 with 35 sailings and four Christmas Party dates, while sister ship Ambition will operate 39 itineraries primarily from regional UK ports during her fifth season.
The new 116-page brochure also highlights Ambassador’s group and solo travel options, speciality dining and drinks packages, themed cruises and its premium “Home Suite Home” benefits for guests booking higher-grade cabins.
Christian Verhounig, chief executive of Ambassador Cruise Line, said the early launch reflected strong demand from guests planning further ahead.
“Since Ambassador Cruise Line was founded in January 2021, our aim has been clear: to offer an affordable quality, no-fly cruise experience that is traditional, authentic, welcoming and sustainable,” he said.
“More than a quarter of a million guests have enjoyed the ‘warmest welcome at sea’ with us since our inaugural sailing in April 2022, with 94% saying they would recommend us to friends and family and travel with us again.
“Launching our 2028/29 season earlier than ever before reflects the confidence our guests place in Ambassador to deliver exceptional cruise experiences and their desire to plan meaningful travel further ahead.”
To mark the launch, guests booking between March 12 and June 30, 2026 benefit from a range of early booking offers, including Buy One, Get One Half Price on all sailings and 15% off the line’s premium drinks package on selected departures.
Solo travellers can also receive up to 25% off single fares, while groups of 15 or more can access additional discounts and benefits, including free places for larger bookings.
Highlights from the programme include a 42-night Caribbean Island Hopping cruise from Tilbury in January 2029; a 13-night Iceland sailing in May 2028; and a series of Northern Lights voyages departing from Tilbury and Belfast in autumn 2028.
Shorter options include three-night mini-breaks to Belgium and Holland, as well as festive cruises and longer Christmas and New Year sailings to Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands.
